I am very happy so far with my experience with CD Paving. A year ago I had had my driveway chipsealed by Joseph's Chipseal, who claimed to have an A+ rating from the BBB but in actuality has an F from the BBB and is NOT accreditted by the BBB. The job did not even last a year, washed away stone and bare spots all over the drive, and after repeated attempts to contact them even with their 5 year guaranty they NEVER returned my calls or emails. I contacted CD Paving to see if they could repair the driveway. Within 2 days Charlie, the elder, came buy to inspect the drive. He walked the entire drive with me and showed my why the previous job had failed. The job needed to be redone, as I had suspected may be the case. We agreed upon a fair price for the job. Two days later his crew was onsite beginning preperation. They were much more thorough in edging and herbicide control than the previous people. They and Charlie were very meticulous and I was impressed with the job they did. They even moved and spread out the stone they scraped off in preparation back to an area that had not been chipsealed just so the old chipsealed stone was not wasted. They even widened the chipset drive to more than cover the previous job. The drive looks excellent. So why is my review only a 4 out of 5? As I told Charlie, like the proof is in the pudding, the weather will tell all. The previous job didn't last a year and Joseph's ignored my attempts to contact them. I reserve the right to update my review, but dealing with Charlie was tops and his people were impressive.
